Getting registered — what you actually need
Registration is straightforward: username, password, CAPTCHA. But security matters here. A mnemonic key is provided on account creation and it's the only way back in if you lose access. PGP is required for vendors and strongly recommended for buyers. Account Secret adds a second layer on top of your login password.

How orders work, from placed to done
Orders move through three states: Pending, Accepted/Shipped, then Finalized. Standard escrow holds funds until you finalize. Auto-Finalize kicks in on a timer if you don't act. Disputes go to a three-way chat with vendor, buyer, and a moderator — outcomes are refund, unfreeze, or an extended AF timer.

Prime Market has four vendor account types depending on experience level and escrow preference. FE (Finalize Early) vendors skip the standard escrow window — buyers release funds on confirmed shipment rather than delivery.
